PROJECT
ROOT
(SPAIN · BARCELONA · 2024)
(RESIDENTIAL)
Raíz is for those who believe that the kitchen is not just a space, but the vital center of the home — where design facilitates, time is shared and everything begins.
The complete renovation of this apartment in Poblenou stems from a fundamental idea: opening up the space to connect people. The kitchen and living room are integrated into a single, fluid, and luminous area, where the central bar not only adds functionality but also becomes the everyday meeting point. This new heart of the home invites a freer, more connected, and more mindful way of living, demonstrating that well-thought-out design can transform the way we experience daily life.
Each element of the project was selected to balance warmth, order, and aesthetics. The material palette—textured wood, Calacatta-style countertops, and matte olive-green furniture—creates a serene and contemporary atmosphere. This is complemented by efficient storage solutions, such as pull-out modules, custom dividers, and a fully accessible pantry. The result is a functional and inviting environment where design enhances life without imposing it.
